VANCOUVER – Inex Pharmaceuticals Corporation (“INEX”; TSX: IEX) announced today that it will present at the Piper Jaffray Healthcare Conference at The Pierre Hotel in New York, New York on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 3:30 PM EST.
David Main, INEX’s President and CEO, will give a 25-minute presentation providing an update on the Company. The presentation will be webcast and can be accessed through the INEX website at www.inexpharm.com for up to 30 days after the presentation.

INEX has filed two of three major sections in its “rolling submission” of an NDA to the US Food and Drug Administration FDA seeking regulatory marketing approval for Onco TCS. The NDA filing will be completed during the first quarter of 2004 with the third submission being data and analysis from human clinical trials.
The Company announced in January 2004 that it had entered into a strategic partnership with Enzon Pharmaceuticals Inc. to develop and commercialize Onco TCS in North America.
